There are four key areas Biblefresh seeks to inspire churches through in 2011:
• Reading the Bible
• Being trained in handling the Bible
• Supporting translation work in Burkina Faso
• Experiencing the Bible in new & creative ways
Churches and individuals can pledge to be a part of Biblefresh in any or all of these areas. If training is something you feel you or your church might benefit from, why not take part in the Biblefresh survey to establish training needs. Click here to take the survey.
There has already been a very positive response to Biblefresh as we’ve taken it across Scotland at various events and meetings. One of the key outcomes we hope for through 2011 is that churches will become better equipped and resourced as a result of being a part of the Biblefresh initiative. One way to get started on that right now is by buying the Biblefresh book available from the Scottish Bible Society website. It is packed full of useful stories, testimony and ideas for good Bible engagement.
