In Revelation Chapter 1 Jesus is described in a vision given to the Apostle John. We are only given sketchy information about what Jesus looked like in human form (from Isaiah), possibly something that God always intended so that we could focus on the image of Jesus given here.
The description given in Revelation 1 verses 12 to 20 is an awesome picture, one that balances the ‘Jesus is my Pal’ syndrome prevalent in many parts of the church today.
