It is becoming more and more common for all ages to come together to worship in church, especially on special occasions such as Christmas and Harvest. However, it is not always easy to know which level to pitch the content of these services at.

In today’s world we cannot assume that everybody in church is familiar with Bible stories and hymns – it is therefore vital to share this wealth of rich and exciting stories in a direct and simple way. When services are presented in an easy and friendly manner, it means that children can be involved and adults can also enjoy them – and certainly find a message for themselves.

This collection of informal and lively talks is written in light-hearted verse to hold children’s attention. Each talk contains suggested songs, with music on the accompanying CD. There is also a Bible reference for each story and suggested readings for the service. The talks are designed to last for approximately 12-15 minutes, and to encourage interaction from the congregation: enabling young, old, new and regular churchgoers to embrace the Christian message together.
