A beautiful book from the Holy Island of Lindisfarne, off the East Coast of England. Lindisfarne was key to the Christian faith being spread in the 7th century A.D. and was the location of a Celtic and then later Benedictine monastic community.

This book aims to offer an artform which draws the viewer into an experience of prayer, meditation and blessing.

Through merging old skills with new materials the auhtor has combined the ancient skills of the scribes such as those who created the Lindisfarne Gospels and the Book of Kells with modern calligraphy, illumination and illustration. Inspiration is drawn from the rich Celtic Heritage and spirituality of Northumbria, the author's Christian faith and the beautiful environment on the Holy Island.
