Spiritual Fathers: A Biblical & Practical Perspective
Paul Newberry
In this book Paul Newberry writes with passion on the need for real spiritual fathers in the midst of a post-modern, and to a large extent post-Christian, landscape. He ably demonstrates how a true spiritual father behaves and thinks and explores the father-son dynamic in a mentoring relationship. Paul has served in ministry for more than 40 years and is also a gifted writer - which makes this book all the more compelling. It is passionate, authentic, rooted in Scripture and always practical.

Paul Newberry has been in ministry for 40 years. For the last 23 years, together with Andrew Parfitt, he has led Manna Christian Fellowship in Kent, relinquishing leadership at the beginning of 2003 in order to recognise and appoint new leaders. He encourages leaders and strengthens churches in Egypt, Austria and Turkey, as well as a small number of churches in the UK. Paul served Assemblies of God in an executive capacity, was a visiting faculty member of the AOG Bible College for 16 years, and has been a member of the Groundlevel Team led by Stuart Bell for ten years. His desire for spiritual sons to seriously know God and serve the gospel of His Kingdom and the Lord Jesus Christ with passion and joy is well known. Paul and his wife Pat live in Maidstone, Kent, in the UK.

"I can think of no one better to write on 'Spiritual Fathers' than Paul Newberry, because he is one. I have known Paul for a good many years. You will find spiritual fatherhood expressed on every page of this book" (Barney Coombs - Leader of Salt & Light Ministries)
