God’s Springtime is in a very simple, easy-to-use format, which belies the inspirational quality of the depth of her observations and commentary, and even those with exceptionally busy lives will be able to set aside a regular time each day in preparation for Easter. There are short sections for each day of Lent, which are grouped under a weekly theme and divided into 7 weeks. The book starts by reflecting on the great love and compassion of the Father, and follows Jesus into the Wilderness, to the mount of his Transfiguration, on to Jerusalem, to his suffering, death and, finally, to his resurrection. Each day has an introductory text, a passage from Scripture, a reflection, a project and a prayer. There is also material at the end of the book for group work. Using this book will enable us to reflect more deeply on all that Jesus underwent, and lead us into the miracle of new life and resurrection, filled afresh with the fullness of God.
