John Thornbury is pastor of Winfield Baptist Church, Pennsylvania, USA, and is an instructor in the Central Pennsylvania Christian Institute. He attained a doctorate at Drew University, Madison, New Jersey, having previously studied at Gettysburg Theological Seminary and Lexington Baptist College. He is also the author of ‘David Brainerd — a pioneer missionary to the American Indians’, ‘God sent revival — Asahel Nettleton’ and ‘Help us to pray’.
