Babylon Rising (Mass Market Edition)
Tim Lahaye
Babylon Rising is the first in a new series of adventure stories by the author of the 'Left Behind' books and fiction writer Greg Dinallo.

Michael Murphy is the main character in this gripping tale of the classic fight between good and evil. Murphy is a Biblical Archaeologist and lecturer at a small university in the USA. He is set the task, by a mystery admirer, of collecting together the ancient, broken and scattered remains of the Bronze Serpent made by Moses, which had been taken, together with many other Temple treasures, to Babylon at the time of the invasion of Israel by the armies of Nebuchadnezzar.

The story has many twists and turns, with a combination of suspense and substance, drawn from the authors' lifelong study of Biblical prophecy. Not least is the real and heartfelt agony resulting from the bombing of Murphy's home church and the brutal murder of Laura, his wife. There is a clear exposition of the heart of the Christian message, as he comes to terms with his loss and later shares his testimony with an Arab friend.
